Joel M. Celso, an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department, concentrates in insurance law matters. He represents clients in complex insurance coverage cases, business torts, and other commercial disputes.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Celso served as an assistant state’s attorney at the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. He has also previously served as an associate and law clerk at other Baltimore-area law firms. In these positions, he has gained experience in developing and implementing litigation strategy, handling pre-trial discovery, conducting depositions, and preparing matters for trial.
Mr. Celso graduated summa cum laude in May 2014 from the University of Baltimore Law School, where he served on the University of Baltimore Law Review and was a member of the Heuisler Honor Society. He graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Geneseo, where he majored in Political Science. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Urban Affairs from Saint Louis University, in St. Louis, Missouri.
