Susan S. Maher is of counsel in the Firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Department, with a concentration in corporate reorganizations, workouts, and related proceedings. With more than 25 years of experience, Ms. Maher also assists clients of the Firm’s general litigation practice.
A long-time attorney with DLA Piper in Baltimore as both an associate and of-counsel, Ms. Maher has extensive experience representing diverse clients in Chapter 11, loan workouts, and the purchase and sale of assets from distressed companies. She also served for many years as a board member of the Woman’s Industrial Exchange, including providing pro bono legal services to the 135-year-old Baltimore non-profit.
Ms. Maher graduated in 1989 from the University of Baltimore Law School, where she served on the University of Baltimore Law Review and was a member of the Heuisler Honor Society.
