Mr. Harlan represents large and small businesses, non-profits, and individuals, counseling them on a broad range of employment matters, from federal and state wage-and-hour obligations to non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. He has successfully prevented class action suits by employees against a large local employer under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and has developed cost-effective solutions for employers going forward. Mr. Harlan is experienced in the prosecution and defense of commercial tort actions, fraud litigation, and partnership disputes. In the personal injury arena, he has obtained favorable settlements for victims injured as a result of professional malpractice, automobile negligence, and sexual assault.
