Matthew A.S. Esworthy, an associate with Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler, has been named to the Board of Directors of The Clarence H. “Du” Burns Memorial Fund, Inc. As a member of the Board, Mr. Esworthy will act as the Fund’s General Counsel.
Founded in 2006, the Fund will honor Clarence H. “Du” Burns’s legacy of public service and his desire to provide meaningful opportunities to individuals seeking to uplift themselves and their communities. The Fund’s mission is to provide educational and practical experiences in government to those aspiring to careers in public service.
