Links to following transcripts are for use in conjunction with Anatomy of a Trial: Theory in Practice, a new book on trial advocacy now being serialized in part in "Raising the Bar", Paul Mark Sandler's weekly column for The Daily Record. For illustrative purposes, the book refers to USA v. David Rosen. The criminal case was resolved in a jury trial presided over by Judge J. Harold Matz in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in May 2005. Opening statements were given by Assistant U.S. Attorney Peter Zeidenberg, for the prosecution, and by Mr. Sandler, for the defense.
