Daniel J. Zeller is an associate in the Firm’s bankruptcy and financial restructuring group. Prior to joining Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler, he was a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Robert A. Gordon and the Hon. Duncan W. Keir. In these positions, Mr. Zeller prepared written and oral analysis of matters before the Court, conducted extensive legal research on bankruptcy issues, and drafted memoranda, opinions, and orders at the direction of the Judge.

During law school, he served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office and also worked as an analyst for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Department of Health & Human Services. In the latter position, he performed tasks such as data mining and statistical analysis in addition to providing data to Congress and federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Government Accountability Office, and the Department of Health & Human Services Office of the Inspector General. He also maintained a direct role in regulatory enforcement policy and analysis.
