For the benefit of clients engaged in political affairs, the Firm has entered a correspondent relationship with Washington, D.C.'s Sandler, Reiff, Young & Lamb, a renowned campaign and election law firm.

Sandler, Reiff, Young & Lamb is home to attorneys of national prominence, including founder Joseph E. Sandler, who, from 1993 to 1998, served on the staff of the Democratic National Committee as General Counsel. Having since retained this role, he is responsible for all legal matters affecting the national democratic party. Co-founder Neil Reiff served as Mr. Sandler’s deputy at the DNC and represents democratic candidates and committees on campaign finance matters. John Hardin Young, former chairman of the American Bar Association Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice, is an experienced commercial litigator and a nationally recognized expert in election administration.

Sandler, Reiff, Young & Lamb's experience in election law augments Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler’s strengths in litigation, business law, and bankruptcy, and compliments the firm’s engagement in domestic and international politics. Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler founder Ronald M. Shapiro and attorney Larry S. Gibson have for decades played prominent roles in local, state, and national politics. In addition, litigation partner Paul Mark Sandler has represented clients in election law matters.

Zell, Goldberg & Co.

Zell, Goldberg & Co., an international law firm with offices in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, entered into a correspondent relationship with Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler on March 1, 2002. The two law firms offer joint representation to clients on appropriate international legal matters and refer projects to each other on a regular basis.

L. Marc Zell is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Maryland School of Law. Proficient in English, Hebrew, French, German, Italian, Russian, Dutch, and Yiddish, Mr. Zell has published widely on a variety of subjects relating to international and Israeli business law. Bernel Goldberg, a graduate of the University of Colorado and Georgetown University Law Center, concentrates on commercial law, distribution and agency law, mergers and acquisitions, international trade and investment, and transnational litigation and arbitration.
