Saad Malik elected to MVLS Board of Directors
Shapiro Sher congratulates Saad Malik, an associate in the firm’s business law department, on his election to the Board of Directors of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS), a non-profit provider of pro bono legal services throughout the state.
Mr. Malik is a 2019 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he received the Platinum Pro Bono Challenge Award for his work in the school’s Mental Health Clinic. While in private practice, he has continued to provide pro bono services in the community; he currently assists Baltimore County Public Library with its Mobile Library Law Center, which provides free legal-aid clinics in Baltimore County.
